BEAM Plus BI Certified Interior Design Services

BEAM Plus Interiors (BI) is a special assessment tool launched by the Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC), focusing on the sustainable design and operation of building interior spaces, covering various indoor environments such as office spaces, retail stores, hotel rooms, public facilities, etc. Professionals holding BEAM Pro qualifications will participate in the entire design to ensure that the BEAM Plus BI certification of the specified target level can be obtained after the decoration project.

Against this backdrop, HKGBC launched the BEAM Plus BI certification in 2016, aiming to fill the gaps in the traditional BEAM Plus assessment system regarding “tenant decoration” and “indoor microenvironment”, and to promote a comprehensive green transformation from the entire building to the indoor units. Its core concept is to create healthy, energy-saving and socially responsible interior spaces through design optimization, material selection and operation management.

BEAM Plus BI Level

Based on the comprehensive score, BEAM Plus BI is divided into four certification levels:

Platinum > Gold > Silver > Bronze

Followed up by a team of Beam Pro (Beam Professional) green building professionals, BEAM Pro is a green building professional certified by the Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC), to ensure that the accredited green building professionals keep up to date with the green building assessment standards and Beam Plus green building certification.
