The emphasis is on "efficiency" and "flexibility". The space needs to be clearly divided into three major areas:

  • Work area (operating table or tool area)
  • Storage areas (material shelves or tool cabinets)
  • Communication area (discussion or rest corner)

For walls and floors, it is preferred to choose materials that are resistant to dirt and wear, such as epoxy resin floors or anti-fouling paint, which makes it easy to clean debris and paint. The lighting should be bright and uniform, LED track lights should be installed on the ceiling to avoid shadows, and an adjustable angle desk lamp should be added on the workbench. Use movable modular furniture, such as workbenches on wheels and folding tables, to free up space for large projects at any time. The storage system uses open shelves with transparent storage boxes. Tools can be hung on the wall to save space and can be found at a glance. Leave a large white wall as an inspiration board, where you can post sketches and pin samples. Install several sets of sockets and hide them at the table legs or in the ceiling to prevent people from tripping over wires. To put it simply, it means that it is easy to use, easy to change the layout, and you won’t feel bad if it gets dirty!
