LEED ID+C Certified Interior Design Services

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is one of the most influential green building certification systems in the world. It was founded by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) in 1998 with the aim of promoting sustainable development in the construction industry through standardized assessments. With the acceleration of urbanization and the surge in demand for indoor spaces such as offices and retail, the inadequacies of traditional building certification in regulating "tenant decoration" and "indoor microenvironment" have gradually become apparent. To this end, USGBC launched the LEED ID+C (Interior Design and Construction) certification focusing on indoor spaces in 2009, establishing a full life cycle assessment framework covering design, construction and operation for commercial interior design (such as offices, shops, hotels, schools, etc.). Professionals holding LEED AP qualifications will participate in the entire design to ensure that the LEED certification of the specified target level can be obtained after the decoration project.

As of 2023, more than 100,000 projects worldwide have obtained LEED certification, of which the ID+C category accounts for about 35%, covering benchmark cases such as Apple flagship stores, Starbucks green stores, and Google smart offices, becoming a key tool for companies to practice ESG (environment, society and corporate governance).
